Privacy and data protection
This portal is operated by Congress Service Center, the congress organiser behind CAMRED and other congresses, to handle delegate registration, accommodation, on-site badges and payments. Each congress shows its own detailed notice inside its registration area.
Who we are

What we collect and why
- Your name, contact details, organisation and country, to register you and print your badge.
- A photograph, used on your badge and at the registration desk.
- Passport details and a copy of the photo page, used to prepare invitation and visa support letters and, where Egyptian law requires it, hotel registration.
- What you book and the bank-transfer receipt you upload, to confirm your payment.
- Badge scans during the congress, for attendance and catering numbers.
Who can see it
Only the congress secretariat. We share the minimum necessary with the official hotel for a room you book, with the travel agency for a transfer or tour you book, and with the Egyptian authorities where a visa letter requires it. Your passport data and receipts are never visible to other delegates. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep your registration profile, including passport details, so that you can register for our future congresses without entering everything again. Payment records are kept for seven years to meet accounting obligations. You may ask us to correct or delete your details, including your passport copy, at any time and we will do so.
Security
The portal is served over HTTPS. Sign-in is by one-time link, six-digit code or a password you choose; we never see your password. Passport copies and payment receipts are held in private storage that only the secretariat can open, and every action taken on your record by our staff is written to an audit log.
Cookies
We set one cookie to keep you signed in. There is no advertising or third-party tracking inside the registration area.
Your rights
Write to camred@camred.org to ask for a copy of your data, a correction, deletion, or to stop receiving congress announcements. We answer within 30 days.
